STATEMENT ON THE
CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
The management and staff of Best Bites Restaurant consider the wellbeing and safety of our customers to be of paramount importance in our community.
Towards this end, we are following all official guidelines regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), and are therefore in full compliance with the recommendations of the city and state of New York and with the directives and regulations of the Department of Health and Human Services.
We are also in contact with the restaurant leaders in the community, sharing information, resources and support, as needed. (We are proud to be part of a community that lifts each other up and looks out for each other, especially these during challenging times)
As expected, we continue to follow our daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures, meticulously.
Please note that we have implemented the following changes based on the information we have received and considered and on guidelines provided by the appropriate authority.
Customers no longer dine in the restaurant. All tables and chairs have been removed and our take-away service continues, along with telephone orders from various sources such as Uber Eats, GrubHub & Doordash. (Customers can pay using their credit card, when ordering meals and therefore save time). Such orders are also served at the customer’s vehicle or at the Restaurant’s take out window at the front of the store.
Also noteworthy is the constant sanitization of high-traffic areas such as the main entrance, exit doors, bathrooms, countertops and other surfaces. There is constant cleaning of these areas often used by customers and employees.
Our ongoing efforts to assist our customers also include providing items such as hand sanitizers and other cleaning agents, whenever they are available and can be sourced.
At Best Bites Restaurant, we will continue to follow the best health habits and practices, as well as the official guidelines provided by those in authority. Such good habits have been in place since the establishment of the Restaurant and will be upheld with extra vigilance.
While we understand and share the concern about this extremely dangerous virus, please know that we are taking every possible precaution to ensure your wellbeing and you can have confidence in the ability of our family restaurant to do the right thing.
Please be reminded that should we allow paranoia to set in, the entire community will be thoroughly and devastatingly impacted. We encourage the use of best practices and common sense, as we continue supporting our local community in various ways.
